How do you build a genuine innovation mindset in a team that operates in a highly regulated, compliance-driven environment?

One-hundred and forty marketing leaders further explored innovation, risk-taking, and growth mindset in a 2-day programme.

Our Approach

For 40 international marketing leaders, innovation was essential. But in an environment where compliance is non-negotiable, risk-taking doesn’t come naturally. This two-day programme was designed to change that.

Day one tackled the psychology and physiology of innovation head-on. Through cognitive and experiential sessions, leaders explored why innovation feels hard, why failure is part of the process, and how calculated risk-taking is possible even within tight constraints.

Outcomes-based thinking, beginner’s mind, psychological safety – all explored through doing, not listening. The physical environment was designed to match: a space that signalled from the moment people walked in that this was going to be different.

Day two took the group to the company’s own R&D site, where an innovation expo brought the business’s heritage of game-changing discovery to life – and gave leaders a first look at what was coming next.
